At Bridge, our mission is to bridge the gap between physical therapy and performance by providing athletes with the care they need and an experience they'll love. Regardless of what level of athlete you are, our Doctors of Physical Therapy are dedicated to creating an individualized plan of care that is both fun and effective, as we know injuries can be difficult physically and mentally. Our goal is to prepare each individual for their sport and/or lifestyle and our care reflects that.
Co-Founder and Director of Operations
Dr. Victor Garcia, PT, DPT, CMPT, CSCS
Victor graduated from FIU in 2020, earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and, following graduation, became a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) in 2021. He has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2021. Prior to physical therapy school, Victor graduated from FIU with a B.S. in Biology in 2017. ​ With a primary focus on ACL rehab and strength and conditioning, he brings expertise in helping athletes recover from injuries and maximize their performance. Victor's contributions to the field of physical therapy extend beyond Bridge, as he also serves as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer for the FIU Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Alex Decker, CSCS
Alex, originally from New Jersey, came to Miami to play college baseball at Barry University, where he earned a business degree in 2013. Post-graduation, Alex embarked on a transformative career path within the performance training industry. Joining a local performance training company, he quickly ascended the professional ladder, ultimately attaining the prestigious position of Director of Operations. Under his leadership, the company underwent a remarkable evolution, expanding into a national brand with the establishment of seven facilities across the nation. ​ Alex's strategic acumen and dedication enabled him to forge relationships with industry giants such as Under Armour, Gatorade, SKILZ, and Keiser, solidifying the company's status as a powerhouse in the performance sector. After gaining experience on the business side of the company, Alex shifted his focus to the performance realm, culminating in the achievement of his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation. ​ Catering to a diverse spectrum of athletes, from youth enthusiasts to Olympic-level competitors, Alex's expertise in performance training became widely recognized. However, his foresight led him to anticipate a shift in the industry towards a more medical focus. Committed to staying ahead of the curve, Alex chose to pursue a physical therapy degree at the University of Miami, where he is set to graduate in 2024. ​ Alex's journey is a testament to his adaptability, foresight, and commitment to continuous growth. From excelling on the playing field to shaping the landscape of the performance industry, he is poised to bridge the gap between sports and healthcare, embodying a holistic approach to athlete well-being.

Dr. Alec Hyde, PT, DPT, CSCS
After dealing with his injuries on the baseball field and not being given many options, Dr. Alec Hyde has built his career on helping high school athletes stay on the field and continue doing what they love. Alec graduated from FIU in 2018, where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Before that, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Biology in 2015. Alec is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. ​ Outside of his work at Bridge PTP, Alec is an adjunct professor at Florida International University within their Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. He teaches the MSK1 lab to first-year students and functions as the varsity pitching coach at Gulliver Prep. He has also coached in the past at Ransom Everglades, his alma mater. Alec’s roots as a baseball coach since 2016 and his time working within the Cleveland Guardians Organization as a PT have led to Bridge’s partnership with Hitting.365.
Director of Pitching
Danny McAuliff
Danny McAuliff joins the Bridge PTP family as the Director of Pitching. As a Miami native, Danny graduated from Gulliver Preparatory and continued his baseball career collegiately at Florida International University. He successfully transitioned from a position player to a pitcher in college where he led the FIU pitching staff in appearances during the 2023 season. Danny has a passion for pitching and a solid understanding of the new technology infusion we are witnessing in the baseball landscape including experience with Trackman, Rapsodo, FlightScope, Driveline Pulse, etc. Danny's journey as a pitching trainer is rooted in his own experiences as an athlete. He has had the invaluable opportunity to train in-person and remotely with some of the most renowned pitching facilities and individuals in the industry, including Driveline, Tread Athletics, Cressey Sports Performance, and pitching expert Lantz Wheeler. He has taken these opportunities to help inform his approach as an athlete and pitching trainer. As a "Tommy John" survivor himself, Danny has a deep appreciation for the importance of injury prevention and a strong desire to help athletes stay healthy and avoid some of the setbacks that have affected him along the way. His mission is to elevate the careers of pitchers through comprehensive, individualized programs that prioritize both performance enhancement and long-term health and longevity on the mound.
